Ensemble, Violin, and Vocal Captain in Elysian Fields
Off-Broadway

Running from October 13 - November 1, 2026, Ryan will perform in the ensemble, play violin, and serve as the vocal captain for the Off-Broadway World Premiere production of Elysian Fields, a new musical by Steve Fisher and Marc Fliedner. It’s Presidents’ Day at the Blue Moon of Kentucky Club, and Abe (Harrison Drake) and Josh (Alexander Ullian) are about to get married right on the dance floor. But between clashing mothers, political divides, and a sudden case of cold feet, happily ever after is anything but guaranteed. Guided by the fabulous drag queen hostess Black-Eyed Suzie (Anthony Wayne), we travel between 2016 Kentucky and the 19th century, where another Abe and Josh—Abraham Lincoln and Joshua Speed—navigate an intimate relationship of their own. Funny, heartfelt, and unexpectedly moving, Elysian Fields is a new musical about love, commitment, and the LGBTQIA+ lives that came before us. Because sometimes the people who came before us are closer than we think.  (Adapted from elysianfieldsmusical.com)
